I worked as a front-end developer, collaborating with developers using Next.js, React, and Node.js. It was a valuable time to understand problem-solving from a developer’s perspective. While I realized design is still my biggest passion, I now bring deep technical understanding into my design work.
I co-founded and ran a handmade character goods brand with a university friend. From product design to marketing, accounting, exhibitions, and customer interaction. I got hands-on experience in building and growing a brand from scratch.
I gained valuable experience both behind the camera and in print design. While working in a photo studio, I developed a strong eye for visual storytelling, and as a print designer, I worked on everything from tickets and food packaging to books and café branding. Visiting different print shops gave me hands-on knowledge of how print actually works, whether it’s understanding when to use CMYK, RGB, or Pantone colors, or how to prepare layers for different machines. These experiences taught me to think about design not only on screen, but also in how it comes to life in the real world.
I try to run 5K every day with upbeat music, and when I can, I also swim, spin, or play pickleball. Exercise always clears my mind and helps me come back to design feeling refreshed and inspired.
In my free time, I love exploring different creative outlets. Sometimes I embroider digital patterns onto t-shirts or bags, or pick up fabrics from local shops to design and sew my own dresses and shirts. I also enjoy writing, and even published a romance novel once with a publisher. These creative projects refresh my mind and reignite my passion for design.
Baking became one of my favorite hobbies during the pandemic. I started by following YouTube tutorials and soon found myself enjoying the process of making cakes, cookies, and muffins. It’s both relaxing and rewarding. Plus, it makes my friends happy too.
I’ve always felt a strong connection to water. I hold certifications in both freediving and scuba diving, and I’ve even participated in open-water swimming competitions. Being in the ocean clears my mind and inspires me in a way nothing else can.
